Apple has just just updated the MacBook Pro, giving the top-end notebook computer inexperienced ports, more power and, most notably, a notch. And now, aid is turning to the Pro's smaller sib, which has languished without a design update for what feels like centuries. But if persistent rumours are to be believed, change could be in the melody in 2022.

MacBook Air 2022: Design
The most colourful MacBook Air rumours definitely involve the design. We've heard that the Air will follow taking cues from the 2022 iMac past introducing colour to the line-upbound. We've already seen plenty of fan renders imagining all manner of delectable pastel hues, and we'd love to see Apple inject some fun back into its laptop designs.
Elsewhere, we've heard that the famous pointed design could be en route out, with a more homogenous directly, flat-cutting design taking over. And yep, rumour has it the notch is coming too – because, as Apple insists, it's a really, identical, extremely "sassy" innovation sense of touch. (Okay, then.)
